Feature Set:  

SpamNet lacks the fine-tuning of filter features that most of the other spam filter packages have. They do, however, offer a few options to customize your preferences such as a whitelist and firewall capabilities.

Ease of Use:  

SpamNet is a very simple spam program to use; all you need to do is press the block button on the toolbar to mark the message as spam.

Ease of Installation:  

SpamNet is easy to set up and install. Once installed, SpamNet relies completely on its users.

Stability:  

We didn't encounter any problems or errors when we used this product.

Customization:  

SpamNet lacks the customization capabilities of higher ranked products but it does do a very good job at detecting spam and cleaning it out.

Spam Filtering:  

SpamNet uses only an "approved and blocked senders list" which you, along with users across the country, create by sending your responses to the SpamNet server.

Overall we were pleased with SpamNet and its ability to remove junk mail and unwanted spam from the email client. One thing that may be of a concern to you is its licensing agreement; SpamNet has the rights to the information on their server. If you accidentally block an email that has important or sensitive information there is the potential of anyone else viewing the information. Although, the chances are small this may be a risk you do not want to take.
