Feature Set:  

CA only allows mail approved from your whitelist, all other Spam will quarantined until you have had the chance to review the material for approval. It has an optional verification protocol that will attempt to confirm that senders of quarantined messages are real people sending you emails, not just an automated Spam bot.

Another feature of CA is their spoof-proof fraud protection which allows CA to automatically verify the authenticity of the message from people and companies using an industry standard digital signature.

However, unlike other Spam filter programs, CA lacked the ability to set up specific category filters and it would only allow you to add senders by email address, not by server or domain like some of the others.

Once installed, all you need to do is monitor your CA Anti Spam folder and decide which emails to approve and which to block.

This product is easy to install and set up. During the installation process CA will scan your address book and add your current contacts to your whitelist.

We didn't encounter any problems or errors when we used this product.

Customization:  

This product provides several options to customize your filtering techniques. You can block foreign language spam, filter emails from multiple programs and automatically approve senders from your address book. It also provides you with statistics of its performance.

Spam Filtering:  

CA filters can block all emails that are not from approved senders, however recent improvements have toned down the filter to allow bonded senders through. This means that you'll still get the important valid messages. CA Anti-Spam utilizes a spam score to help separate your messages, making it easier to sift through your quarantined mail, and less likely that you will miss an important message.

We were pleased with the quick results that the CA spam filter provides. The recent improvements in this product have made it easier for you to receive the emails you want and simply block or file away the ones you do not. The inclusion of CA Website Inspector to help reduce phishing scams is a great addition.
